Here Kitty, Kitty Day 3

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Here Kitty, Kitty Day 2

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

 Welcome back!  It's Day 2 of our Here Kitty, Kitty event.  Please join in all the fun we are having creating all things Kitty!  Anything having to do with cats is fair game and you are free to use any company's rubber stamps.  You have until Midnight PST on May 25th to play for a chance to win some LCD/CV rubber.

Here Kitty, Kitty Day 1

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Good morning everyone!  We are back once again with a new event and you can play along.  This month, we wanted to highlight our cat stamps, especially the new ones that were just released.  So, for the next three days, we will be featuring everything having to do with Cats!

Challenge #36 Use Faux or Real Stitiching - Mid-Month Inspiration

Happy May 15th!
It's now halfway through May and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration.  Once again, our designers have been busy creating projects to uplift and inspire you.

CATHY created her The Birds and The Wheels Keep Turning Cards using Bird on a Bike and Nuance Powders.
 
CATHY also created this ATC Trio set using Mannequins.

This one is easy. Just use faux stitching (if you are like me and don't have a sewing machine) or real stitching somewhere on your entry (don't forget to include some stamping!).  That's it!

Please remember we do have some Challenge Rules to follow so look them over to ensure your entries qualify to win this month's prize!

You are welcome to play in our Challenges using rubber stamp images from any company but if you use any of our Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda stamps...we love it when you do...then your entry counts as two which doubles your chances of winning in our Design Team Faves prize drawing.

New Stamp Release Day 1

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Good morning everyone!
We have NEW STAMPS!  Yes, Linda has released a plethora of new stamps and we are going to take three days to share them with you.  Please be aware that they are so many new stamps, both on the LCD and the CV websites that we are only showing a small fraction of all the new, quirky goodness.
 
It's a bonanza of new stamps!

To see ALL the NEW RELEASES, go to Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda.  In addition to our new stamps, we have new CLEAR stamps at Carmen's Veranda and a new COLORING BOOK at Lost Coast Designs.

Challenge #35 Favorite Background Technique - Mid-month Inspiration

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
 
Good morning!
We are now halfway through April and it's time for our mid-month inspiration.  Our designers have been busy creating projects to inspire you to create your own work of art featuring your favorite background technique.

CHALLENGE #35

FAVORITE BACKGROUND TECHNIQUE


Our LCDesigners have been working hard to bring you more fabulous inspirations. ENJOY!

MARILYN created this Dreamcatcher ATC using heated soft matte gel for the background.  she used the Small Dreamweaver stamp along with the Corner Swirl stamp.
LAURIE created Farmer's Party card using paper collage as her background technique.  She used the American Gothic Party stamp.
SUE created her Happy Place card using blown alcohol inks for her background technique.  The stamps she used are Showgirls and CV Happy Place.
PAULA created her Doodle Bird card using activated distress oxide inks on shadow stamp using ATC White Magpie, the rectangular stamp from Shadow Frames set, and Old Typewriter Alphabet stamps.
And last but not least, CATHY created her Party Mona card using paints and a straw to create the background along with the Flying Mona stamp.

As you can see, the team has been busy creating loads of inspiration for you.  Now it's your turn; are you up for the challenge?  We can't wait to see your projects!

 MARILYN created her Imagine ATC using stencils and splattering for her background and the Parrot from the Misc. Anthropomorphs set.

PAULA created this ATC titled LEsson 175 using the Stamped and Stenciled Gelli Plate technique.  She used CV Calligraphy Square, Squares Background from the ATC Misc. Set 3, Rustic Checkerboard Border and Bird-Bug from Isle of Aud Creatures.
