Rock and Roll

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps!   Gail here today with some final inspiration for the Let Us Entertain You! challenge.  You have until 23.59 PST 31st May to get your entries added to the linky.  Today I am sharing a bottle tag.
I used an Avery Elle die to cut the tag and smooched with distress dusty concord ink and water.  I stamped Carmen's Veranda Dice Background with Seedless Preserves distress ink and added Lost Coast Designs ZZ Top Gnome 1 stamped on white card, coloured with shades of purple and fussy cut.  Then I added parts of Carmen's Veranda Ran out of Coffee sentiment.
You have all month to share your stamped anythings with an entertainment theme. Please read the updated rules before entering. Real rubber or clear stamping and theme must be the focus of your project for a chance to win Lost Coast $$$$$'s.
Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

#136 Man cave.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hallo stampers and crafters.
Here a post by me, Riet.

Today we have a challenge that I really enjoy but also find a bit difficult.
But that makes it all the more challenging.
To make this card you will need:

Stamps Lost Coast Designs
and

and from Carmen's Veranda,

Furthermore, you will need a stone wall stencil.
I used Dutch Doobadoo wall stencil.
distress oxide,
antique linen
weathered wood
iced spruce
Ground espresso
Versafine onyx black
Acrylic paint cream color
Color pencils or markers
white gel pen

First we start by applying the antique linen, weathered wood and iced spruce to the craft sheet.
Spray some water over this and dab your paper in it.
Dry well.

Now stamp half of the fourth dimension stamp with the versafine black.
This will be the floor.
With the stencil we are now going to make the stone wall with distress oxide ground espresso.
When that's done, we shift the stencil a little bit and sponge the acrylic paint over it. We call this the bump technique.
When the paint is dry, we carefully sand the paint here and there with a sandingblock.

Stamp the jukebox and the zztop gnome on thin paper and color with pencils or markers.
Stick them on the card and give some white accents with the white gelpen.
Stamp the badass text and you're done.

Well that was fun to do.
Show us what you can make with this theme and you have a chance to win stamps.
You can even participate with stamps from another brand, as long as your card or project is stamped.
The team would like to see it.
So come and join our challenge!
