31 Days of Halloween, Day 15: Dancing Skeletons

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi stamping friends, Aimee here. It's just two more weeks until Halloween! Now would be a great time to send a card to that friend who really, REALLY loves the holiday:

\

I used Lost Coast Design's Dancing Skeletons stamp and part of the Carmen's Veranda Witches Go Riding sentiment. This card is quick to make, so it would work well as a party invitation:

The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity is celebrating the holiday with inspiration on each of the 31 days this month. Check it out for some great, spooky ideas! Join in the fun and submit your creation for a chance to win this month's prize.

31 Days of Halloween Day 9: Psycho Scream

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi all, Aimee here. How old were you when you first watched Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho? Here's a little homage to the movie that has made many afraid of taking a shower:

I used the Screaming Woman stamp from Carmen's Veranda, a Brush Strokes stamp from Lost Coast Designs, and a haunted house sticker purchased at a craft store. I tried the "ice" embossing technique to create this final look:

Why not give the ice embossing technique a try and submit your creation to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity? You could win this month's prize!

31 Days of Halloween Day 3: Day of the Dead

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Boo! Aimee here. Spooky Season has FINALLY arrived. As an American, this is a holiday our communities really get excited about. Kids. Candy. Costumes. What's not to love!? And with a large Hispanic population now living here, Day of the Dead celebrations are becoming more and more popular.

I used the Lost Coast Designs DOD Baile and 4 Flowers A stamps in two sizes to create this card. I colored inside the flowers with gel pens, which look great on black paper.

We're celebrating 31 days of Halloween on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. We'd love to have you join in on this month's fun!

Punky Anniversary

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi all, Aimee here. After 34 years of marriage, my husband and I appreciate a good sense of humor when it comes to celebrating significant milestones. Why not give an unusual card!?!

This one-of-a-kind creation was made with the American Gothic Steampunk and Party Words stamps from Lost Coast Designs. Using just black, white and one other color keeps the card making simple and provides striking visual impact.

We'd love to see YOUR creation on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. There's two days remaining until this month's Challenge ends. Don't worry! It'll be quick to make. Try to win that prize!

Wanderlust

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi all, Aimee here. I LOVE to travel and hike, and I'm grateful to have a husband who shares this same passion. This simple card would be great for anyone who likes to wander.

A card like this is easy to make when you use artwork from a coffee table book! I took a page from the book Be Still that was picked up at a local thrift store. I then stamped a Travel Quote from Lost Coast Designs.

The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity is hosting a "For the Men" Challenge this month. I'm excited to see all the cards for men that get sampled since that doesn't happen as often as it does for women. Submit your "manly" creation by the end of August for your chance to win a prize.
