Hello everyone, Liesbeth here with a piece of inspiration for our Let's Fly-Challenge. This time it's not a real challenge, because there are so many beautiful stamps for this theme! I made a shiny bookmark with the lovely insects! 

I stamped the Bubble Border with orange StazOn ink onto a piece of alcohol inked glossy paper. And also some parts of the Roses stamp with yellow StazOn ink. Last but not least I stamped the insects, More Bugz,  with black StazOn and added a tiny bit of gold embossingpowder. I finished the bookmark with coloured gel pens and black edges. I glued it onto an orange card and added a metal ,roof' and a gem.

Under the Sea: Steampunk Mermaid

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi eveyone! It´s Liesbeth here with an ,Under the Sea` card to show you for our current challenge. There's still a few days time to join us, hope you do!

I used the stamps Fish and Heart Set 1, Bubbles Border and Steampunk Mermaid. 

On an alcohol ink background (glossy paper) I stamped the mermaid with black StazOn ink and masked her. With green, blue and black StazOn I stamped the border and the stamps of the stamp set. I removed the mask and finished the card with Distress markers, gel pens  and I made a shadow around the mermaid.

The Serious Moonlight

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

 Good morning and a very happy Friday, it's nearly the weekend again! It's Sue here, and for my second project for our Under The Sea challenge, I've made a giant tag.

I started by making a gelli print background using my new Lavinia ink pads and Brusho's. The inks are wonderful, so juicy, I now need a full set lol.

I cut my tag using a die from a slimline card set. Then I stamped the bubbles border and embossed it in white.

I thought it looked nice, but a bit too clean so I decided to grunge it up a little. I dripped and sprayed some paints and dried off with my heat gun.

I liked it a lot better, but I really wished that I'd stamped the bubbles lengthways, so I started all over again lol. I used the spare one to die cut my moon and stars.

Next I stamped and cut out my Doodle Seahorses.

I love the way the paints have dripped and run.

Under the sea: steampunk

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone! There's still time to paticipate in our challenge Under the Sea! Here's another big card I made, it was so much fun making it! I stamped the ,waves' 3 times using a Big and Juicy inkpad (rainbow coloured) and spread the ink a bit with water and a brush. I let it dry well. Using black StazOn ink, I stamped the small waves at the bottom and the right ship. I also stamped two ships and the mermaid onto a seperate piece of paper and I cut them out. I coloured them with watercolor pencils, water and I finished with glitter glue after I sticked everything in place.

MiniMe Monkeys

 Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you have enjoyed your weekend! It's Sue here with my trio of Rolodex cards for our fun MiniMe challenge.

There's just something about these stamps that make me smile!

I started by cutting the backgrounds for my Rolodex, and then stamping with Distress Oxides. I really like the alpha one, it's the full sheet that I've kept intact as I think it makes a fab background.Then I stamped and coloured my wonderful monkeys.

We have Flying Monkey on a Chickenwire background.

The very handsome Matador Monkey on the Old Typewriter Alphabet.

Bouncing Blue Ballerina on Bubbles tag

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Hello all Cathy here with a Bouncing Blue Ballerina tag.
Stamps Used: robust dancer
 Small butterfly from set
Bubble border 

I started out by using a mix media tag. I sprayed some blue Distress Oxide on the tag with some gold shimmer power. (you really can't see it). Adding water and more spray to get to a background I like. Set aside to dry.

Next  stamp robust dancer on white cardstock and color with Copic markers. Cut out. set this aside.

 Then on blue pattern paper stamp Bubble border . Cut out.
Next glue the border on the bottom of the tag. Next layer the ballerina on top of the bubbles.
Stamp Small butterfly  with blue in randomly over the tag.  Color ribbon with blue and gray inks. Add blue glitter as a final touch. Edge with black ink to tie it all together.

There you have your Bouncing Blue Ballerina on Bubbles.

Bee and Butterfly

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with my things that start with B.

I started out with a paper Mache ornament and  painted it with some art alchemy dark velvet color paint. As that was drying I took a die and made the crest and leaves out of Kraft cardstock. Then I stamped the Bee from the Bugz Set  on the crest.  I thought it needed more so I stamped the Mini Crown from Mini Crowns set.  Edged the crest with some brown distress ink and set aside. Then I colored the leaves with some green distress ink. Set them aside. I did stamp Gothic Text  on the paper Mache in black ink but you can not see it.
Then you glue everything down. Last I edged the circle with a thin line of black paint.

 So I have a bonus card for you. I so forgot I had this one made for the things with a B challenge so you get a bonus idea from me.
It is a CAS card. Well to be truthful. It did not start out that way. I tried using Nuance Powers and painters tape. Didn't work. The tape tore the paper. Insert mad face here. Grrrr. So I just cut the Bubble Border  out. Added it to a black card front. Then I stamped the Butterfly on the torn paper and water colored in. I did add some sparkle to the wings.

Bubble border

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Cathy here with a card for our Border event.

First off I want to thank our own DT Iona for this idea for a card. I stared off with some watercolor paper and some Nuance watercolor powers.

Next I stamped the bubble border on the paper twice. Then I started cutting them out. I left one main one as the stamp is and the second one I cut apart. Laying the main full one in the middle and then I picked different strips from the second on I cut up laying it on either side from the middle. I did this till I got a full card how I like it.

Last but not least I stamped the Skeleton on black paper and used white embossing power. Cut around the image and used foam squares to rise it up.  

Ta-Da my card is done. I say grab your border stamps and try them a new way. Mine I didn't even use as a border.
