Hi everyone, Aimee here! I want to wish my sweet husband a very Happy Birthday today. He brings me much happiness, just like these gnomes.
This card is a chance to use some of your favorite patterned papers. Any paper will do, and any gnome will do as well. There's a huge selection of gnome stamps available on the Lost Coast Designs website. Here I've used the Redneck Gnome, Silly Gnome and Flower Gnome stamps. Follow along to see how I made this card:
I hope you'll join in April's Gnome Challenge on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. Submit your creation by the end of the month for your chance to win a prize!

Gnome-vember: Birch forest

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone, Liesbeth here showing you my art journal spread for our current challenge Gnome-vember:

It's a small square journal, perfect size for my lovely Gnomes! I started with a napkin with birch forest image, I got it in Finland! I glued it onto the entire spread with gel medium, and painted a ,frame' at the edges with green paints. I stamped Flowers Gnome, Swinging Gnome and Stone House on a seperate piece of paper with waterproof ink and cut them out.

I stamped the Swinging Gnome and Daisy Flourish onto the spread, with waterproof black ink. I coloured the Gnomes and house with watercolour markers (Zig) and glued them on the spread. I finished the spread with gel pens, black marker and I drew a path and a fence.

I think they live happy there!😀

Hope to see your Gnome-creativity soon! See you next time,

Gnomes: Happy New Year!

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone!
Liesbeth here with my last blogpost of this year! This lovely Gnome with her flower-hat wishes everyone a very good, happy and healthy 2022, and so do I !!😀💝

On a glossy piece of paper I fist stamped the Flowers Gnome  using black StazOn ink, and I masked her. I stamped the window (Door and window set) and removed the mask. After that I stamped the text from Party words. I sponged the edges with Distress ink Vintage photo and coloured the other parts with blue, pink and brown Distress inks, using a q-tip. I finished the card with lots of Stickles (glitter glue)

#135 Anything go's gnomes, gnome tag.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi there, Riet here
We have another fun challenge at Lost Coast designs.
A whole month its all about gnomes.
If you dont have a LCD gnome, dont worry,
it is allowed to use other brands.
I stamped a tag this time.
Pretty easy and quick to make.
So here is the step by step explanation.

What I used:
Carmens Veranda sentiment.
Click on the stamps to take you to de website.

Distress Oxide and distressink,
Pink flamingo,
Peacock feathers,
Diamond stencil,
Color markers,
Versafine onyx black,
Small ruler or a plastic card.
White posca pen.

Take a piece of paper or a tag.
Spread some distress oxide in both colors evenly over the stencil.
Spray water over it.
Press the stencil onto the paper as if you were stamping.
Dry it with the heat tool.
Now take the stamps and the distressink.
Stamp like the example or as you see fit.
Take the ruler and the Versafine.
Swipe the pad with the ruler to apply the black ink to the edges.
Splash some black ink or paint over the tag.
Stamp with Versafine the gnome.
Color the gnome and cut her out.
Gleu her to the tag.
Well you won't believe it, but even though I use a stamping aid,
My text doesn't often have a nice straight line, LOL.
You'll probably be better off than me,
so stamp the sentiment with versafine.
This text is from Carmens Veranda,
on the CV site you will find a whole page with the most beautiful and funniest text stamps.
Stick a piece of black cardstock to the back and you are done.
Hope you have fun in creating your gnome card, tag or anything you want to make.
And please share your art with us and join the challenge.
There are rubber stamps to win so come and participate.

# 114 Gnome's doorhanger.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Door hanger.

 Hello everybody, Riet here.
Today a post for the gnome challenge.
Just love those funny gnomes,
they are so adorable.
Here is a list what I used for this door hanger.
Versafine onyx black.
Distress oxide ground espresso, Iced spruce, Speckled egg.
  And distressink Walnut stain.
Some cream colored paper.
Stencil with numbers.
Waterspray.
Coloring pencils/markers.
White gellpen.
Red posca pen.
Fine sandingpaper.

I started with the distress oxide speckled egg and Iced spruce.
I made stipes over the paper in one direction,
leaving some room between the stripes so the cream color shows.
When it is dry I scored some lines on the backside of the paper.
With the Ground espresso I made the score lines brown.
Then I sprayed just a little bit water on the lines.
This makes the lines run out a little bit.
Now you make the numbers with the stencil and the Ground espresso.

On a piece of paper you stamp the gnomes and the keyhole with versafine.
Colour them and cut them out.

Cut out the doorhanger and glued it on the cardboard doorhanger (Ikea).
Now you glue the male gnome on the keyhole and let his hat stick out.
Then you glue the keyhole on the doorhanger.
Glue the girl gnome and the keys on.  Sand the edges with sandpaper, and done!

LCD team would love to see what you make with a cute gnome.
Here is a link to lost Coast Designs gnomes, so cute.
Show us, and you can win some rubber.
And here you can enter the challenge.
