31 Days of Halloween Day 28: Creepy classical ladies

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone, Liesbeth here. My final entry for the 31 Days of Halloween... but still we have 6 days to go. Today I 'd like to share a card I made a while ago. I used the Classical Portraits for it... of course they are not meant to be Halloween stamps, well... I think they're a bit creepy! :-)
I also used the beautiful tulip with script and Flagstone Background.

I made a background with Distress Oxide ink and water and dried it. After that I stamped the tulip (?) using brown Oxide ink and sprayed some water to let the image run a bit. After drying I stamped the script and the Flagstone with black ink, and the Classical portraits on a seperate piece of cardstock. I cut out the portraits, coloured them with a bit of brown ink and a blending tool, and glued them onto the card..

We would love to invite you to join our 31 Days of Halloween challenge and to participate! See you soon!

31 Days of Halloween: Day 27 - Good Dog

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Woo Hoo...
We're nearing the end of our month long celebration of Halloween.
Today I have a fun ATC card for you that works for both of our challenges...Halloween and Pets!

I had fun with this card...you know how much dogs love a good bone, well to keep up with the Halloween theme as well as the Pet Challenge I thought I'd give Fido several bones - human ones that is!  EEK!!!

I stamped the Dancing Skeletons onto a scrap of white cardstock and fussy cut the "choice bits" to give to fido.  I also stamped one of the dogs from the Circus Dogs Set of stamps onto white cardstock, colored him with a grey colored pencil and fussy cut him. I made a little slice in his mouth so he could hold one of the bones in his mouth.

I matted a piece of alcohol inked cardstock onto a black ATC base then added the bones in a pile and mounted the dog to the card using foam tape to pop him off the surface a bit.  I finished it off by matting and mounting the computer generated sentiment.

Have a spooktacular day friends!

31 Days of Halloween Day 26: Birdie Camouflage

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Laurie here with the countdown to Halloween!  Hope you are following us on the blog this month as we bring you a brand new Halloween project every day.  The second half of the month we feature pets along with our Halloween theme, and I've created a tag for this one using the Whimsical Flora stamp and the White Skulls Border stamp, both from Lost Coast Designs.

For my background I used a piece of black and white dotted card stock from my Halloween stash of papers.  I stamped Flora onto white paper and colored her legs, beak, and around her eyes with orange marker.  I then fussy cut her out.  Next I stamped her again onto the dotted card stock and cut our everything except her legs, beak and eyes and superimposed that atop the original stamped image.  I spent 15 minutes going through my Halloween paper looking for just the right background and decided I liked the way the same dotted paper I used for Flora worked as her background.

I then stamped my border with black ink on white paper and cut it out.  I cut my background paper to the shape and size of a tag, edged it with black ink, and attached my border along the bottom.  I then attached Flora perched atop the border and gave her a black witch's hat with a star on it.
I added a "boo" sticker to the upper right corner and some black satin ribbon at the top.

And she's ready to work some Halloween magic for you!  Come join the fun and show us your fabulous and frightening Halloween creations!

31 Days of Halloween Day 25: A Bosch creature

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi, Liesbeth here again
on the 25th Halloween day already! But we still have a few days to go.Today I show you a glossy ATC card (Artist Trading Card). I love this creature so much! The image for this wonderful Lost Coast Designs stamp was taken from one of the paintings by de Dutch artist Jheronimus Bosch (1450-1516). His imagination was endless... I love his art so much! And the stamps are perfect for the Halloween theme I think!

I stamped the creature onto a card, masked it and stamped the text and the window. I created some shadow here and there by using a q-tip and some black distress ink. An easy one this time!
Stamps used: Isle of Aud Creatures, ATC text Set 1,   Door and window set. (klick=see)

31 Days of Halloween Day #24

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Good Morning Cathy here with a Halloween tag for you.
Stamps Used:
Bandaid Dog by KatzelKraft
Drips
Grunge diamond
Flying Skull
This tag just makes me laugh. Start out with a tag and spray it with Distress inks on Halloween colors. Dry. Stamp  Bandaid Dog by KatzelKraft on white cardstock and color with copic markers cut out. For some reason this dog always reminds me of Halloween. Next stamp Flying Skull color just the wings and cut out. Add them to the top of the dog.
Stamp the Grunge diamond  randomly over the background. Next stamp the Drips on the top of the tag. Add some washi tape to the tag so the dog can be grounded.
Lastly add ribbon and a charm to the top of the tag.

31 Days of Halloween: Day 22 - Take Your Pet to Work Day

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

We're up to day 22 on our quest to bring you a fun new Halloween creation each day of October.

Today I put a new twist on Take Your Pet to Work Day....

This was such a fun card to make.  I started off by stamping and masking the stamp Witch 2 on a piece of white cardstock. I then cut a circle from a piece of scrap paper. Next I sprinkled on a bit of Violet Brushos Pigment Powders and spritzed with water. I quickly dried the water/powders.

I removed the masks and colored the witch using Memento Dual Tip Markers. I then stamped the smaller of the two cats from Carrie's Menagerie set Cat 1 and added white wiskers using a white gel pen.  This panel was mounted onto a black card base. To finish it off I matted the computer generated sentiment with black cardstock and added it to the card.

Hope you enjoyed today's creation which is for both
31 Days of Halloween
and the
Pet Challenge!

31 Days of Halloween Day 21 - Under a Halloween Moon

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Greetings Portal Peeps.  Gail here today.
Are you keeping up with the spooktacular fun here at the Portal?
So many ways to win Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda stamps this month!!
Check the treat posts for all the details.  And don't forget to link up your stamped Pet themed makes, spooktacular or not, and your stamped Halloween inspired makes to our challenges,
both of which run to the end of the month.

Today sees the start of the 2019 Cat Lovers Blog hop, and Lost Coast Designs is one of the fabulous sponsors.  Another way to win Lost Coast Designs stamps this month!!
Of course, my Halloween Pet themed make had to feature a cat!!  And Pink!!

I've used Lost Coast Designs Floppy Eared Cat and Fruit Pods Background.  Lost Coast Designs have some amazing background stamps and this one is my new favourite!

I started with some white card.  I stamped  Floppy Eared Cat with black archival and fussy cut.  The Fruit Pods Background was stamped twice, once with Cactus Flower and once with Dandelion archival.  I embossed the Dandelion panel with Emerald Creek gold sparkle embossing powder and cut with a circle die.
I smeared the 'moon' with Mustard Seed distress and edge with black ink.  I added a piece of textured card that I had cut with a stitch die and smeared with Orange Blossom archival ink.  I stamped the cat over the scene.  It's not a good impression, I am just after the details I didn't fussy cut, like whiskers and such.
Add the fussy cut cat.  Nice whiskers!!  Add a few die cut bats, cut the panel with a stitch die and mount on a black base card.  Looks like something is creeping up behind you cat!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Do check out all the amazing projects the team is sharing and leave a little love.  One randomly selected comment from the 31 Days of Halloween posts will win a little stamp package.  And don't forget to link up your makes to the 4 challenges that are offering a gift voucher to Lost Coast Designs this month.

Hi, Liesbeth here again on the 20th Halloween day here! Today I show you a big A5 card with lots of thing to scare you ;-)

I masked some of the images: the beast, skull, bird before I stamped the other images. I finished the piece with a white gelpen (lots of details) and a little bit of colouring with Distress markers.
Stamps I used: Goth raven, Evil Eye, Skeleton and roses, Skull flourish, Flagstone background, Ironwork wall, Door and window set. (klick=see)
