# 159 "Winged things" challenge , i made a printers tray.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Today my contribution to the LCD/CV challenge "Winged things".
I made this printers tray (20x30cm) for a stamp friend's birthday.
It contains quite a few stamps, but I especially like the butterflies.
Here's a list of what I used and a brief description.
Spike and Lucy. (only the girl)
Sentiment from Carmens Veranda,

Distressink
Broken China
Twisted citron
Fossilized amber
Rustic wildernis
Rusty hinge
Black waterproof ink.

For the frame, i used acrylic paint in the same colors.
For the spletters some white and brown paint.
Pencils for coloring.
White gellpen.
Nuvo aqaua shimmer for some glitter accents.
I first drew the frame on paper, so I knew exactly where the compartments were.
This makes it easier to determine where which stamp will be placed.
First I sanded the frame and painted it in various colors.
When that is drying I smeared the ink with water on the paper.
Then I stamped the stamps,
The big butterfly of the Bitterfly set I stamped each wing turned left and right.
And I glued the 3 small butterflies loose so that they have depth.
Then I stamped the background around the stamps.
Color the details with the pencils.
You can finish the it of with a white gel pen.
Don't forget to do some stamping on the edges of the frame as well.
Just splash the white and brown paint and you're done.
make a small Happy birthday tag and bind it to the foil giftrap.
I hope you enjoyed it and that you will soon get started for our challenge.
You can win new stamps, so come and participate.
The challenge runs until the end of this month.
Good luck.

#139 "Round and round" challenge at Lost Coast designs

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello dear stamp friends, Riet here.
Yes, you can do a lot with the challenge round and round.
I chose a card with a butterfly in a circle with the beautiful text stamp of Carmens Veranda.
The butterfly is from the LCD butterfly set.

I ran a glossy cardstock through the distressink Evergreen bough, Peacock feathers and Twisted citron.
I punched a circle from a piece of watercolor paper and stamped a butterfly with waterproof ink.
Masked the butterfly and made some spots on the background with the distress colors.
I colored the butterfly with markers.
I also gave the butterfly a layer of glitter.
I stamped the CV text with Versafine onyx black.
The card and circle are matted with black and the black circle is somewhat frayed with a distress tool.

#133 Its a wrap challenge, wrapping paper, gifts and boxes etc

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone, Riet here.
Today I have 4 delicious chocolate bars to show you.
Yes unfortunately only to look and not to eat, lol.
They are presents from my granddaughter for her kindergarten teachers.
She is celebrating her birthday,
and in the Netherlands we give some treets to the teachers and children.
I decided to work with something with wings.
I've only worked with Distress Oxides.
I also used the beautiful stamps from Lost Coast Designs.
The sentiments are from Carmen's Veranda.
The mandalas are masks.

Would you also like to join our challenge?
There is a chance that you will win new rubber stamps.
You can participate with any stamp brand you want,
as long as you use real stamps at work.

These are the stamps I used.
