Wings challenge

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello, Cathy here with a card for you.
Stamps Used:

First, I took one stamp from Pieces of Architecture and stamped it with a teal distress ink. I then took a stamp from Pieces of Calligraphy and stamped it in gray ink. Then I sprayed water on it so it would spread the ink and blur the stamping. I then took some gray distress spray ink and sprayed it in the middle. Dried it with a heat gun. After it was dry, I then took a number stencil with some black ink and stenciled the two corners, and I edged the piece in black ink.

On another sheet of paper, I stamped the Flying moon and the Eye chart square. I cut out the eye and the wings from the moon. Next, I then colored them with Copic markers and glued them together.
After they were dry, I added them to the front of the panel. I then added it to a white card base.

You can join all the winged fun here.

Sealed With A Fish

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Good morning and a very happy Monday. It's Sue here with an envelope for our mail art challenge.

I started making a background on my gelli plate as I was making my own envelope using a very old envelope board.

Next came the stamping. Do you like my nice blue text? My printer won't print in black at the moment, but luckily this is a nice shade of blue. I've put some washi tape around the sides to give it an airmail feel. The Alice in Wonderland figures have been coloured with alcohol markers
I couldn't resist sealing it with a fish!

These are the stamps that I've used. They are all by Lost Coast.
Antique Text Border - don't worry, yours will come in one piece, I chopped mine down to make it easier to use. Don't tell Linda!

I hope you like my envelope, and you have until 14th to join in with our challenge for the chance to win some Lost Coast dollars.
Take care and have a very happy day x

Art Doll Shrine

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Good Morning Friends...Ink Stained Roni here with another inspiring project for our current Challenge #95 Winged Things.

It's been a while since I played with Gothic Arches so I thought it would be just the ticket. LCD/CV has so many fun "Winged Things" it was hard to decide which one(s) to use.  I went with the Art Doll for the outside which I paired with the Ledger and Doodle Circles.

But that wasn't enough so I created this on the inside!

I started off by stamping all the fun images...parts from Victoriana, Doors & Windows, Jewel Shrine, Small Cityscape, the Long Swirl and  the Flying Moon.

I then added all sorts of VersaFine Clair inks directly on the Gothic Arch and some through a stencil.  The Flying Moon was stamped on a scrap of paper and colored then mounted on the GA with foam tape.

I used sentiment stickers from Prima and then inked all of the edges with VFC Nocturne ink.

I was so much fun to get inky with this piece...
I hope it has inspired you to join in on the fun.

Dreamy Circles

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Happy Day Friends - Roni here with a "dreamy" card for the Round & Round challenge.

It's still cold here in Indiana but I wanted to use some bright Spring colors so I chose to use sky blue (memento), verdant (versafine clair) and Electric coral (radiant neon).

The ATC Circles background was stamped several times on a piece of white shimmer cardstock using Piano (black) StazOn Pigment Ink.  After the ink had dried I filled in some of the circles with a sponge dauber.

On a piece of scrap cardstock I stamped the winged moon and sentiment. The moon was then colored with Memento Dual Tip markers, some gold ink and fussy cut. It's hard to tell but he has been pop-dotted off the card to give him some height.  The sentiment was then adhered to the card and a bit of pen-work added.

I hope you decide to join in on the fun!
Better hurry though, only a few days left to enter your creation.

Good Luck
and
Have a great Day!
