31 Days of Halloween #27 & #109 Furry Friends - Happy Howl-oween!

We're continuing to celebrate Halloween and our Furry Friends today.

I thought it would be fun to bring a dog friend to the party....

This little cutie is from the Circus Dogs set of stamps. He was stamped on white cardstock then fussy cut. I created his hat by stamping the Oz Witch hat, colored it with glitter gel pens and fussy cut. 

I stamped one of the spider webs from the Spiderweb Background on the upper left corner of the pumpkin pattern paper and the large and small Bat from Carrie's Menagerie in the other corner.  The stamped panel was affixed to a card base and a bit of washi tape was added to the bottom. I used foam tape to add the dog to the card and hand wrote the sentiment.

Welcome back to another fun 31 days of Halloween post!

Our current challenge is Cats and Dogs so I thought I'd combine it with the 31 Days of Halloween challenge and this is what I came up with....

Isn't that cat just great and that sentiment makes it.  He is the Hanging Branch Cat from the KatzelKraft Collection.  The bats are new to the shop and can be found in the collection Carri's Menagerie along with lots of other fun animals.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 12

Hi again from Laurie and hope wherever you are it's a beautiful fall day!  My favorite time of year and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  We are having a ball making all sorts of spooky projects for you here at the Lost Coast Portal.  We hope you will be inspired and join the fun and enter some of your own Halloween projects.

I have these cute little bat stamps and thought they would be perfect for an ATCoin.  I'm fairly new to ATCoins but am loving making them.  If you have not tried one, they are simply a 2 1/2 inch circle decorated as you would a standard ATC.

For this one I used the Bat stamp from the Carri's Menagerie of animal stamps that are new to Lost Coast Designs.  If you have not seen them, you must check them out!  There are 30 different sets each with two stamps.  I also used the Grunge Tree background stamp.

Using some dark blue and green Distress inks, I colored a piece of white card stock, blending the two colors together.  I then die cut my circle and stamped the Grunge Tree with black Staz On ink.  I dotted some "stars" into the night sky with a silver gel pen.  I stamped my bats onto white paper with black ink and cut them out.  I darkened then up a bit with a black marker - my black ink pad has a hard time creating a completely filled in black background so I gave it a little help.

I attached the bats with some foam tape and added the word "Scary" to the bottom.  I outlined the coin with black marker and that's it!  So easy and so fun!
