Please include some numbers on your stamped project.  Please make sure that numbers are a prominent part of your project.  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project.  A small stamped number in a sea of die cuts or digi images will not qualify to win the prize and you may be deleted!!!!  Bwahahhaaahaha.

Tag you're it cat

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello all Cathy here with a cat tag for you.

So I started out by making my own tag out of white cardstock. I then took some purple Distress inks and smooched them on my mat and spritzed them with water and I made the background. I heat set in-between the colors.
Next I took Grunge Diamond background and ATC set 6  and randomly stamped over the background. Edge the tag with some black ink.
Stamp Happy Cat (large) on a separate white cardstock and color with Copic. Cut out.
Add to front of tag then add some ribbon.

Stamps Used: Grunge Diamond Background
Sketchy Lily  

I started out with white cardstock base. Tore a piece of copy paper in half. Cover the card base with the torn paper. Take the  Grunge Diamond Background and stamp it on the card with black ink.
Remove the torn copy paper.

 Next stamp the Sketchy Lily  in red distress ink. On scrap paper stamp the flower and cut out. Color it with the red distress ink.

Add a saying to the bottom and you are done.

If you haven't checked out the Lost Coast Designs Hard Luck Pixie line then you are really missing out.  These are wonderful images available in 6 different Pixie designs.  I used the TeeHee Pixie on this card along with the Sketchy Rose and Little Diamonds images in the background.  Love this combination of stamps.  Step by steps are shown below.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 17

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello all, Lori here today.

Day 17, Wow!  The 31 Days of Halloween are just flying by!  We are also in the midst of the Cats and Dogs Challenge as well.  So, here is a card that will hopefully provide inspiration for both challenges!

'Boo Kitty

Lost Coast Designs Stamps:

• Carri's Menagerie Cats 2
• Little Diamonds Background

Instructions:

1. Cut several strips patterned paper (approx. 1/4" x 5"). 
2. Weave strips of paper together until you have a square large enough to use with the "Boo" die cut.
3. Cut out the "Boo" letters with Die and adhere any pieces of paper that are not secure.
4. Cut a panel of patterned paper to size (4 1/8 x 5 3/8).
5. Using a different color/style of patterned paper, to cut a strip that will go behind the "Boo".  Tear top and bottom edges of this piece and adhere to the panel of patterned paper.  See card for example.
6. With Archival Ink, stamp partial prints of the Little Diamonds Background across panel.
7. Edge the panel, card base and "Boo" with black archival ink. 
8. Adhere panel of patterned paper to card base and then adhere the "Boo" die cut, as seen in example card. 
9. Stamp Cat 2 image with black archival ink and then fussy cut image out.  Adhere to card, just under the "oo" of "Boo.  See card.
10. Embellish with adhesive pearls and a spider adornment.
11. Done!

You have until the end of the month to add your projects to the

31 Days of Halloween or Cats and Dogs Challenge.

Born To Stand Out

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Helloooo and happy Wednesday, it's my turn to share my 'borders' project for our latest event.

I've used glossy card and alcohol inks for the background.

Then I stamped Spray Webbing and embossed in white.

For my borders I've used Diamonds and Dominos.

I've paper pieced the middle guy from 3 Waiters and given him a hat from the Party Hats 2 set.

The sentiment is one of Carmen's Veranda clear stamps.

I've really enjoyed my play with border stamps this month, and of course they're not just for borders, I made a fab (if I do say so myself) background with the numbers here.
