CHALLENGE #180

IN THE DEEP MIDWINTER

We want to see your stamped anythings featuring winter. 
Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project.  A small stamped sentiment in a sea of die cuts or digi images will not qualify to win the prize and you may be deleted!!!!  Bwahahhaaahaha.

Please remember we do have some Challenge Rules to follow so look them over to ensure your entries qualify to win this month's prize!

You are welcome to play in our Challenges using rubber stamp images from any company but if you use any of our Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda stamps...we love it when you do...then your entry counts as two which doubles your chances of winning in our random prize drawing.

ANYTHING GOES

A nice easy theme to start the year.  Please remember we are a stamping challenge.  Rubber or clear stamping must be the feature on your creation.  Your creations can be anything providing the focal element is hand stamped.  Please tell us in your post which stamps and the company you have used.  If we can't see stamping or digi images have been used your entry will be deleted.

Cathy made this lovely CAS card using Lost Coast Designs Mums Border and Carmen's Veranda Hug Your Enemies sentiment stamp.

Laurie has used one of Lost Coast Designs new Yoga Cats to make this fabulous card.  Love these cats!!  Laurie is also using Carmen's Veranda Bottom of the Wine Bottle sentiment stamp and Lost Coast Designs Sketchy Lily, Doodle Circles and ATC Miscellaneous 6 Set

Roni made this snowy New Years card using Carmen's Veranda Snowman, Lost Coast Designs Large and Small Snowflakes stamps and the sentiment from Party Words.

Brrrrr...Cold n Frosty Out

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

I started by stamping the snowman on the base layer with Acorn ink (for the arms).  I then stamped him in black, blue, red and his nose in orange.  I colored then cut apart all of the bits and re-assembled him with both glue and double stick foam tape for a bit of dimension.  I water colored the background "snow" and added some glue & glitter and I did the same in the darker blue areas of the snowman.  Finally I stamped the sentiment and mounted it on a blue plaid card blank.
