I am Woman: Fly

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone! Liesbeth here with a happy flying woman for our current challenge
I made it with a Infusions-background. I stamped the Robust Dancer with black StazOn ink and masked her. The leaves are stamped with the beautiful Large Tree Crown (CV) and two times the word Fly from Misc. Words. I bleached (pure bleach) the woman and finished the card with colour pencils.
Hope to see your creations too! :-)

Have a nice day!

Gnomes: reading Gnome

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone, welcome again to our Anything goes with Gnomes' challenge! Today it's my (Liesbeth) turn. This reading little Gnome is so lovely! 💓 Grab your Gnomes and stamp along with us!

This is how I made this card: I stamped Carmen's Veranda Compass Square four times (using a stamp positioner) with different light inks on a piece of paper and sponged here and there with the same four colours. With black ink, I stamped the tree, (a first and a second print as you can see), the crown and the script at the bottom and the text.(ATC birds in trees, Tree crown, Pieces of CalligraphyTravel Quotes) I stamped the Book Gnome on a seperate piece of cardstock, coloured it with Zig-markers and cut it out. I glued the Gnome onto the card and finished the card with gel pens and Zig-markers. I sponged the edges with black ink.

Wood Challenge: *Magic*

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone, Liesbeth here!
There's still time for you to join our Wood Challenge till August 31st!
I hope to inspire you with this card. I made the wood grained background by wiping (direct to paper) my Distress Ink pad Vintage photo onto strips of paper of different widths). I sponged the edges of the strips, again with Vintage Photo and glued then on a card.  I stamped Large tree crown and ATC tekst set 1 also on the background.

I stamped Ancient woman 4, added some colour and fussy cut her, then stamped the word, ripped and inked the edges.

Stamps I used: Large tree crown, Ancient woman 4, ATC tekst set 1, and Misc. Words.

Day 19 of 31 days of Halloween

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with a zombie dog walker.
The zombie is still a good pet owner. He is walking his dog.
Stamped Used: Bandaid dog by Katzelcraft.
Tree crown
I started out by making a night sky background. I used Distress inks to make it and added white paint for the stars. Set that aside to dry.
I stamped Bandaid dog by Katzelcraft on Copic friendly paper and colored him in. I then used a YG11 all over to give him a zombie look. Cut him out. I stamped a second time and colored just the collar and cut out so I could attach the string(leash)
For the zombie I used Tim Holtz's new die and cut him out of some green paper. Then I used some green and brown Distress ink and dirtied him up.
Now that the background is dry I took the Tree crown and inked the top so I could have trees in the sky. Then I die cut a circle from gold cardstock and made that my moon. I also die cut some bats to add to it.
Then I cut a piece from the same green cardstock that I cut the zombie and made a hill and some grass to have the zombie walking his dog on. I used a stencil on the grass but it needed more so I took that Tree crown stamp again and used a green ink and stamped it all over the ground. Insta grass.
I hope you like my zombie dog walker. Come join the fun for our 31 days of Halloween Challenge.

Bookmarks

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello all. Cathy Here.
Well today I have made some bookmarks for your viewing pleasure.  I have made 3 in total for Lost Coast Designs new challenge MINI ME - smaller than a card. Well mine are longer than a card, but definitely smaller, so they still count...
To start out I did the backgrounds all the same. The first two I used Distress inks and the smooching technique. The last one I used Distress Oxide inks and the smooching technique.

The one above I used pinks and oranges colors in inks on white cardstock. Then I stamped Katzelkraft Monsters all over the edges of the bookmark. Next I stamped the saying from Carmen's Veranda Currently Unsupervised, cut it down to just 2 words, and glued it to the bookmark. When that was done I backed it with some black cardstock. I did that to all 3 of my bookmarks. Then I laminated them.

So for this on I used blues and greens of the inks. Next I stamped a small butterfly from the Bugz set. I felt it still needed more so I grabbed my number border stamp and stamped that randomly on it.

Last one!  This time I used the Distress Oxide inks. For this one I used another Katzelkraft stamp that Lost Coast Designs is selling. It is called Hanging Branch Cat. I stamped it at the top of the bookmark. Next I stamped the tree crown on the top of the bookmark to it looks like trees and leaves.  Then I grabbed a saying sticker and added to the bottom. Lastly I added some stars with a stencil and regular distress ink.

Tree Crown ATC

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Hello Cathy here with a new challenge here for you. Pretty as a Picture is what it is called. . Photo Inspiration - be inspired by the colors, the subject, the shapes, just tell us what inspired your project

I have made a ATC for this challenge.  What I inspired me in making this ATC is the color, the window frame and the twigs from the nest.
I took Distress Oxide ink in red and brown tones and I did the smooshing technique on my craft mat with them. Next I took  ATC Leaf Column Shrine and stamped it in black ink. Next I stamped  Small Tree Crown in the center of it. last I colored the crown with brown Copic markers and some green for the leafs on the crown.
