Abstract Elk

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps!!   Gail here today.  I am loving all the Red, White and Blue on the blog and in the linky.  Doesn't it look awesome!!!  I decided to just get out some stamps today, ink them up and see where it led me.  I got out Lost Coast Designs lovely Shadow Frame stamps and decided to go abstract with some distress oxide inks.

I started by stamping the large rectangle Shadow Frame stamp with Candied Apple distress oxide ink and then the small circle Shadow Frame stamp with Salty Ocean distress oxide ink on white card
I grunged up the background by randomly stamping the Doodle Circles ATC stamp and PMC Circles stamp with blue ink using the stamps off the block so I could just do partial impressions.  Then I stamped Lost Coast Designs Medium Elk Skull with red ink directly on the card and then on a piece of white card.  I fussy cut the elk image and added it to the stamped panel.
You have until 23.59 PST on the 14th and don't forget to follow us so you don't miss anything!  The team will be posting more inspiration throughout the month so check back and join the Red, White and Blue fun.
Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Dreamcatcher Card

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with a shabby-ish card for you.
Today I was playing with Large Elk Skull from Lost Coast Designs.
I chose my colors from BOHO Vibes paper pack.

I trimmed the paper to fit on a A2 size card. I edged my paper with some distress inks and then I stamped Large Elk Skull with black ink in the center.

Next I grabbed a cream color cardstock and stamped just the skull and flowers on it with Copic friendly ink. Colored with Copic and cut out. Edged with black marker so you don't see the edge of the paper. After I glued the skull and flowers I grabbed some bling and added it where the mini dreamcatchers hang off the antlers.

I hope to see your Anything Goes. You have a chance to win some Lost Coast or Carmen's Veranda bucks. Enter here.
