Hi everyone! My fourth inspiration card for our 31 Days of Halloween challenge! Hope we inspire you to give it a go yourself!πŸ‘»πŸ˜±πŸ‘» Have fun!

The techniques are the same as my previous blogposts. On a coloured background (Distress inks) I stamped Calligraphy Shrine with black StazOn ink and masked it. I stamped Skull Flourish, and also it's flourishes at the edges of the card. I sponged some edges around and inside the masked arch with black ink before I moved the mask. The card is finished with some bleach, charcoal and white gel pen.

31 Days of Halloween Cats ans Dogs: Cat & skulls.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone! It's almost Halloween and that's why we continue our 31 Days of Halloween chalenge! The last two weeks of October it's also a Cats and Dogs party! I (Liesbeth) made this big card in Halloween style. I love this cat stamp so much, it's from the wonderful set Up close and personal.

This is how I made the card: I took a page out of an old book and painted it with brown Distress inks, paint and water, I let it dry overnight. Using Archival Coffee, I stamped the Skull Flourish a several times. I did the same with black ink and one of the Pieces of Calligraphy. I stamped the Scalloped Flourish a several times with Versamark ink and heat emossed it with gold powder.

I stamped the cat on a seperate piece of white cardstock and cut it out, sponged it a bit with Distress ink Vintage photo and coloured it with pencils (eyes and nose) I gold embossed the edges and matted it onto a black card, as well as the big page. I adhered the cat onto the card.

Hope I inspired you to join the fun with us! See you next time!

31 Days of Halloween Day 28 - Poison

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone, Liesbeth here with a bottle of poison for our 31 Days of Halloween challenge! There's still much time to participate, join the fun!

I made an altered bottle, it was a small liqueur bottle. First I stamped the skull (Skull Flourish) onto a piece of tissue paper, tore it out and glued it onto the bottle with gel medium. I painted the entire bottle with gel medium, and after that with black paint (except of the image of course) I added a layer of Black Lava (Liquitex) and let dry well. With my finger, I added a little bit of  bronze wax here and there. I highlighted the skull image using a white color pencil and added text stickers. For the ,blood'  I mixed some red paint and water and let it drip off the bottle.   I finished with a skeleton embellishment.
