Goodmorning, Cathy here with a fun fold card for you today.

Life is too short

I started out with a pink piece of cardstock. I folded that in half, I then folded the front card in half again. Next, I found some pattern paper to go with the cardstock and cut it down and distressed the edges of both pieces. 

I then took a different piece of pattern paper for the inside of the card and distressed it too. I then stamped Flying ballerina on a white piece of cardstock with black ink.

Lastly, I stamped Life is too short on the inside of the card.

We want to see cards featuring kids.  Extra points for making it funny.  If you haven't got kids we will accept funny, but funny kids will really make our day!  You have all month to share your stamped anythings.  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project.  A small stamped sentiment in a sea of die cuts or digi images will not qualify to win the prize and you may be deleted!!!!  Bwahahhaaahaha.

Please read the updated Challenge Rules to ensure your entries qualify to win this month's prize!

You are welcome to play in our Challenges using rubber stamp images from any company but if you use any of our Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda stamps...we love it when you do...then you could win a bigger prize in our random prize drawing.  All winners get our snazzy Challenge Winner's Badge to proudly display on their blogs!

Good morning, Cathy here with a fun woman card for you today.

                                                                       Stamps Used:

                                                                         Grunge Diamond Background  

                                                                          Flying ballerina 

                                                                           Saying

I started by cutting a 4.2 x 5.5 card base. I then took some picked raspberry distress oxide ink and made the background.

 I then stamped Rose in the same distress oxide ink as I used on the background.

 Next, I stamped the Flying ballerina with black ink on the bottom center to make her pop from the card. I them added some Grunge Diamond Background around the open spots to fill in the blanks. 

Lastly, I stamped the saying on the top with black ink.

My first make I am sharing with the Children Challenge theme is a slimline card using the Flying Ballerina

I stamped her then fussy cut out a wee bit of chalk colouring on her dress and some sparkles on the wings (not sure if you can see it here)

The background I used the Dream Magic Love stamps

Stamped dream several times

I popped up the fussy cut image and added some threads I had in my stash.  A few butterflies then layered all together

Challenge #169 - Use Some Words - Spirit Animal

Another day - another challenge and what a fun challenge it is... Use Some Words!  

If you've ever checked out Carmen's Veranda Clear Sentiments you know there are so many fun, quirky and entertaining sentiments.  Today I have paired one - Spirit Animal with one of my favorite images from Lost Coast Designs - Flying Ballerina.

I used the circle stamp from the Brush Strokes set to create the background.

Hello, all Cathy here with a card for you today.

Fun hot mess

I started off with some Kraft cardstock and a stencil. I didn't have a firework one, so I used one that kind of looks like one. I used distress oxide inks for it. 

Next, I stamped Flying ballerina on some white cardstock and colored her with pencils and cut out. Added some washi tape for her to stand on.  

I knew I wanted her in the bottom corner, so I took the Fun hot mess saying and stamped on top. After all was in place I added some glitter to the 'fireworks' and to her dress because she is full of it.

Hello all Cathy here with a fun card for you all.
Stamp Used: Flying Ballerina

I cut a square out of white cardstock and stamped  Flying Ballerina on it. I colored it with Copic markers and then I added glitter dots to the dress, set aside to dry.

 For my background I used some paper I made by spraying some shaving cream into a pan and spraying dylusions sprays on top. I wanted to see if it would work. It did. I have many background papers ready to go. The first ones I just left the spray with out mixing it. After a few pulls from that I started to "marble" it so it looks like the one in the photo. ( That is done with only 3 colors)

Here is a close up of the dress. I did a glitter to the wings but I could not get that to show up in the photo. I then added a snarky saying to the top. Added foam squares to the back.

Before I added it to the front of the card I die cut some flowers out of black cardstock and glued them to the card.
