Say It Big

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps!!   Happy 4th July!!!   We are kicking off the festive season this month with Christmas in July.   It's nice to make a few cards at a time and the heat of summer is the perfect time to think snowflakes and ice.  Especially if it's in a long drink LOL.
No snowflakes or ice on this one, just an elf and a little red, white and blue.
I stamped Lost Coast Designs Flagstone Background with Ice Blue ink and realised I really need to clean my stamps sometimes.  But it's quite a nice shade of uh, rose?? so I stamped the large Rectangle Shadow Frame with Carnation Red archival.  I'd stamped, coloured and fussy cut this little Carmen's Veranda Elf and decided all it needed was a big sentiment.  License Plate Alphabet to the rescue.....
You have all month to join the Christmas in July fun.
Check the rules to make sure your makes are eligible for the prize draw.
Thanks for dropping by.

Black And White Christmas Elves

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps.  Gail here today with a bit more inspiration for the Black and White Challenge.  I often stamp images and leave them uncoloured and when your stamps have as much detail as the ones offered by Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda they always look really good just as they are.   I decided to try a Christmas card and recruited Carmen's Veranda Elf with Star and Elf for the starring roles.
I kept this a one layer card by using masks on the elves.  I stamped Elf with Star and Elf, masked them and stamped the edge of Lost Coast Designs Fourth Dimension for the floor and the vertical Merry Christmas in black.  With the masks still in place I stamped randomly with one of the Small Snowflakes and grey archival ink.  Unmask and magic!!!  I went round the edge with a black promarker to give a nice framed finish.
Join the fun with your black and white, or white and black stamped projects for a chance
to win Lost Coast dollars.
Thanks for dropping by.  Don't forget to check out all the awesome projects from the team.

Think Like an Elf

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps.  Gail here today with some quick cards.  Christmas is coming and it's nice to have a few quick and easy designs and quite honestly, with Carmen's Veranda sentiments and a cute elf it is soooooo easy.........

My elves are fussy cut, but that's cos my elf stamp appears to have run off!!!   Maybe he's helping santa.  Luckily I had stamped a few the other day and coloured them with different colour schemes, so I just fussy cut them.  So, stamp a sentiment on a card panel, or even your card base if you want to be really easy, add your elf and done!!!!  I might have to make some more of these!!!   So many options with the Carmen's Veranda sentiments..........
Join the Something Seasonal challenge with your stamped anythings for a chance to win Lost Coast dollars!!   The challenge lasts all month and the team will be sharing inspiration with you from here to next year so come back and visit us again soon!
