Cute cat

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello, all Cathy here with a square card for you.

Stamps Used:

I started with a stencil and some green distress ink, and I stenciled the top and sides of the square paper. I just eyeballed where the stencil will go. I placed the stamps over the stencil so I kind of knew the stamps were going to go.
I stamped Pieces of Calligraphy on the bottom of the paper and then I stamped the Large peekaboo kitty on top of the other stamp.

Come join the fun here.

Cute, Fluffy and Sassy

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps.  Gail here today with some inspiration for the Cute and/or Fluffy challenge.
I kept it simple with a distress ink smooched background and a little scripty stamping using one of the Lost Coast Designs Pieces of Calligraphy stamps.  I stamped Carmen's Veranda Peekaboo Kitty on white card, fussy cut and added some gel pen colour to her eyes.  I added the cat to the card and stamped Carmen's Veranda Hot and Sexy sentiment to finish.
You have until 23.59 PST on the 30th to join the Cute and/or Fluffy challenge and don't forget to follow us so you don't miss anything!  The team will be posting more inspiration throughout the month so do pop back and see their awesome makes.
 Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

31 Days of Halloween - Day 18 - Black Cats are Seen

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

For todays card I used the darling Peekaboo Kitty (small) from Carmen's Veranda along with the Witches Go Riding sentiment. They were both stamped on this wonderful moon print cardstock. The kitty was colored using a variety of Zig Kuretake Clean Brush markers and a bit of white paint pen and glitter (in his eyes).

Hope you join in on the Halloween fun...

Do I smell cake

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Cathy here with a birthday card for you. Since it was my birthday yesterday I made a birthday card.

Stamps Used:
Large peekaboo kitty
Hat from party Mona
Do I smell cake

So I was watching a video the other day and they did something called rip and flip. What you do is take a  piece of pattern paper and cut them to the size you want for the front of the card. I made mine a little smaller then the card front so you can see the card base. Make sure that you have the piece of pattern paper larger then what you a re going to attach them to.  Now you are going to rip it and flip it. Flip the piece of pattern paper so you get the 2 sides on the front of the card base.

You can see it better here in the close up. Next I colored and cut out  Large peekaboo kitty. After that  I cut out the hat from the birthday Mona and added to the Large peekaboo kitty.
Stamp the  Do I smell cake on a white scrap. I added some pink bakers twine and some pink sequence. Added the saying to the top and placed it all on a shimmer card base.

Meowy Christmas to You!

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Friends...
Our current challenge is Christmas In July...
Roni here with a fun creation to help inspire you to get your holiday on...

This card was created by stamping on a single sheet of white cardstock which was then mounted onto a green card base. I started off by stamping the Large Peek a Book Kitty in the center of the bottom portion of the panel with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.  It was then colored with a combination of colored pencils and alcohol markers.

Next I stamped the Daisy Flourish along the top and sides of the panel using Verdant, Green Oasis and Rain Forest VersaFine Clair inks.  I colored the Daisy in with Lady Bug Dual Tip Memento marker turning the daisy into a Christmas-y looking flower. A bit of glitter was added to the center of each flower.

To finish off the panel I stamped Merry Christmas and changed it to Meowy Christmas and inked up the rest of the card with Paradise ink.

A better look at the kitty...

Hope you all decide to join in on the fun!!
