Hello Portal Peeps.

It's halfway through June and time for a mid-month blast of inspiration from the team for our Colour Challenge.  Our challenges are now monthly!  A new challenge starting the 1st every month, with chances to win Lost Coast dollars.   This month we are all about the colours Lemon and Lime OR Terracotta and Turquoise.

CHALLENGE #198

COLOUR CHALLENGE

We want to see your stamped anythings featuring the colours
LEMON AND LIME or TERRACOTTA AND TURQUOISE.
You can pick which colour scheme you want to use.  You can include black and white and a small splash of other colours if you must, but the main colours should be obvious.
Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project.  A small stamped sentiment in a sea of die cuts or digi images will not qualify to win the prize and you may be deleted!!!!  Bwahahhaaahaha.

Please read the updated Challenge Rules to ensure your entries qualify to win this month's prize!

You are welcome to play in our Challenges using rubber stamp images from any company but if you use any of our Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda stamps...we love it when you do...then you could win a bigger prize in our random prize drawing.  All winners get our snazzy Challenge Winner's Badge to proudly display on their blogs!

If you don't have a blog then no prob, you can still play in our challenges by sharing your projects from public photo sharing sites which includes our Facebook Company Pages for Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda.  Please include our Challenge info and the link back to our challenge in your photo's description!  As long as the privacy setting for your photo is public you're good to go.  See, it's so easy to join the fun!  FYI, you can't link up projects shared in closed Facebook groups!

Here's the inspiration from the team.  ENJOY!

Aimee used Carmen's Veranda Pear Square

A Cat's Tale

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Portal Peeps.  Gail here today.  It's February, the month of love and romance and everything Pink.  Yes, here at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity we want you to Think Pink.  It doesn't have to be romantic, but it does have to be PINK!  The more pink the better.  And stamping of course.  Real rubber or clear stamps and pink anythings, everythings and all things in between.
I've gone pink and catty.
I've used Carmen's Veranda Tabby Cat and Lost Coast Designs Dream, Up Close and Personal and More Cats and pink!

I started with a pink card panel and stamped Tabby Cat, Dream and More Cats with Cactus Flower pink archival ink.  Then I used the same ink to grunge it up a bit and edge it.

I stamped the cat and tiger face from Up Close and Personal with red inks on pink card, cut them out and added them to he card panel.
I stamped Tabby Cat on pale pink card with the Cactus Flower ink, fussy cut and added her to the card.   A bit of gel pen and done.
Looking forward to seeing your pink things.

Doodle in Dreams

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Our Challenge for this month of January is "Doodling", and there are so many great "doodle" stamps on the Lost Coast Designs website.

For this card, I used Face With Heart Stamp and Doodle "Dream" clear stamp.
I used black ink and stamped the face directly onto my background, then used Copic markers to add some color.  My background is made with my Gelli plate and rust, yellow, and brown acrylic paints and various stencils.  I then stamped the word "Dream" with black ink below the face.  I layered this with a brown piece of card stock then layered that with a torn edged piece of water color paper.

Now you go and create your own "Doodle" and enter the challenge for a chance to win free stamps from Lost Coast Designs!
