Hello Portal Peeps!!    Gail here today with some inspiration for the Christmas in July challenge.  I was thinking about christmas boxes, which led me to cats, cos everyone knows cats love boxes.   So here's Lost Coast Designs Fat Cat in a box!!

I've made a bottle tag and I hand-drew the box and cut it out.  You can see why I use stamps LOL.  I die cut the bottle tag and smeared it with tumbled glass distress ink and stamped one of Lost Coast Designs Small Snowflakes randomly with dark blue ink.  I stamped Fat Cat and Santa Mona's hat, fussy cut them and added some distress marker colour.  I finished with some Misc. Words.

Hello Portal Peeps!!  Gail here with a final inspiration for the Christmas In July challenge.  

I used Lost Coast Designs Flagstone Background stamped in red for the background.  I stamped Santa Mona, cut the lower part of the image into a square and fussy cut her hat so it protruded above the frame.   The panel behind was stamped with part of Lost Cost Designs Grunge Border 2" and I used the Merry Christmas from the Party Words set.  

You have until the end of the month to join the Christmas in July fun so get stamping.

Kukla Christmas

Hello Portal Peeps!   It's Christmas in July here at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and the team are sharing awesome seasonal inspiration so we can take a break from the heat of summer and get a jump on the Christmas makes.  I was going to use Lost Coast Designs Santa Mona, but then I spotted Carmen's Veranda Kukla and decided to borrow Mona's hat for him to wear!

I stamped Kukla and Santa Mona's hat, coloured with Promarkers, added glitter glue to the hat fluffy bits and fussy cut.

I used post-it notes to mask the centre of Lost Coast Designs Arches and Doors Background, inked it up with Prickly Pear archival ink.  I removed the masks and inked up the top and bottom of the stamp with Library Green archival ink and stamped on white card.  I used yellow watercolour paint to colour in the doorway. 

 I added Kukla and his hat and also a Christmas Wishes sentiment from Lost Coast Designs Party Words set.

Just Like Santa

Hello Portal Peeps!!   Only a few sleeps left til santa calls!!   It's too late for cards now so I am finishing some last minute tags.  Doesn't Mona look splendid in her Santa hat!!!!!

 

I cut my tags using a Stamploration die which has a nice stitch edge and stamped Santa Mona with black archival ink.  I masked Mona and stamped the Small Snowflakes using blue archival ink.  It's great that you get 8 snowflakes in the set cos then you can stamp them all at the same time!  And as they say, everyone is different LOL.

And what's better than one Mona?????

Hello Portal Peeps!!   Gail here.  We are going Face On this fortnight and sharing our makes that feature a human face.  You can join the fun until 31st August 23.59 PST so grab your people stamps and share your makes.  Here's Mona, all ready for her Merry Christmas!

 

Using black archival ink I stamped Lost Coast Designs Santa Mona, masked her and stamped Lost Coast Designs Bubbles Background.  Inspired by a photo challenge at Christmas Kickstart I decided to leave lots of white and add some pops of colour.  I used red, green and yellow Promarkers to randomly colour clusters of bubbles and Mona's hat and dress.  Then I added glitter glue to the hat rim and pom pom.   To finish I stamped Lost Coast Designs Merry Christmas with green ink, edged the sentiment strip with green ink and added a couple of yellow enamel dots.
