#186 Red, white and blue challenge. Love this manga girl.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi there, Riet here with a new card for the
Red, white and blue challenge.
How festive that is with the Fourth of July approaching.
This card can also easily be made by a beginner or advanced stamper.
The team would love for you to join the challenge.
So show us what you made with these colors.

Stamps I used:

Color pencils (I used Derwent colorsoft)
Stazon Black cherry
Stazon Midnight blue.

How to make the card.
I started by stamping the manga girl with stazon midnight blue.

Also stamp a mask and masked her off.

The lovely flowers come in 4 sizes and 4 diferent flowers.
Just stamped around the manga girl in red and blue stazon.

Color some of the flowers and leave some white for the contrast.
Color the manga girl.

Take some red white and blue cardstock for the background to matt.
And then you're done.
You could of course further decorate the card with glitter or sequins.
That's up to you.
I often find the simplicity beautiful.
Hope you enjoyed it, and see you next time.

Next, I stamped the saying on a separate cardstock layer. I also layered that on some green cardstock. Lastly, I put it on a black card base.

#147 Celebrate it! Manga girl in top hat.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi there, Riet here.

Today it's my turn for the "Celebrete it" challenge on the Lost Coast designs challenge blog.
I know America celebrates the 4th of July, the day America became independent.
An important holiday for Americans.
I found this manga with top hat stamp so suitable for that.
So in honor of America this card.
And here the step by step how the card is made.

I used this:
Red glitter, I used wow glitter.
Double-sided tape.
Red, blue, skin tone, orange and yellow markers.
White pigment ink.
Stazon Midnight Blue.
Star punches in 2 sizes.
Blue, red and white paper.

I made stripes with the double sided tape.
After removing the tape protection, sprinkled the glitter on it.
I did this 2 times.
Looks so great.
I stamped the manga girl with Stazon midnight blue.
Then I colored the girl with markers.
For cutting I use both scissors and a knife.
Then I punch small and slightly larger stars from the dark blue paper.
Then I stamp the words and cut a banner.
You can do this also with white embossing powder.
I stick everything on the card with foam tape of different thicknesses.
Matte with blue, white and red.

I hope you enjoyed it and are inspired to join the challenge.
You have a chance to win some new rubber stamps.

I'm busy

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello all, Cathy here with a card for you.
Stamps used:
As you can tell I have no tropical stamps. So, I chose to do tropical colors. I started off with the mop up of from the background I made for the start of this challenge.

                                                                 This card.☝☝☝
I then took Small skeleton and stamped it in orange pink and yellow on the front of the card. Next I used a star stencil and added some orange paper glaze to go around the skeleton. Set that aside to dry.

On a scrap piece of cardstock I stamped Manga goth with tophat and colored her in with the same colors I used to stamp the Small skeleton in. I fussy cut her out. By that time the stars were dry so I added Manga goth with tophat to the middle of the card.

Lastly I stamped Magical shit  saying on some white cardstock and cut it apart and added some foam tape to make it stand out a bit and attached it to the card.

I hope you join the challenge here

Cathy here with Neon tag for you.

I started off with a tag. I used distress oxide and distress sprays in pink. I did ink smooching with it.
Next I took Gina k electro pop neon ink and stamped  mini crowns on the background. next I took postage set and did the same thing.

Last I stamped manga tophat goth with the same neon ink on white cardstock. I then cut out and glued to tag. I then added a saying to the top.

#118 Where did you get that hat.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello stamp lovers.
Here a post from me, Riet.
What a fun challenge.
Its all about hats, I love that hat, hihi.
For this card I used the pretty LCD stamp Manga goth with tophat.
and the large florish
The words are from Carmens Veranda Wine and chocolates
 What more did I use?
Pink, turqoise and purple pencils.
stazon royal purple
Mandala stencil/mask
Distressink, seedles preserves, dusty concord.
White gelpen
Nuvo shimmer powder, lilac waterfall.
White gelpen.

Start by wetting the paper over the middle part of the paper.
Sprinkle some nuvo powder on the wet part.
When required, spray some water over it.
But no powder on the upper and lower part of the paper.
Dry the paper with the heattool.
On the bottem half stamp the florish with the stazon royal purple.
Now take the mandala and spunge with the seedles preserves over the madala.
Do not go over the florish.
With the pecils I colored the florish and some parts of the mandala.
This way it pops more.
On a piece of paper I stamped the manga girl with the royal purple stazon.
And colored her with the pencils.
And with the white gelpen I added some high lights on the
manga girl and the florish.
With the two distress colors I made some splashes of ink on the card.
Now glue the manga girl on the card.
And stamp with the purple stazon the words on the top of the card.
I added 2 colors of cardstock at the back.

Now, for the challenge we would love to see what kind of hat you are going to show us.
So join our challenge, and maybe you wil be the next winner.
