Hello Portal Peeps!  Gail here today and I seem to be going big this month.  The current challenge is
Cute and/or Fluffy and what's more cute and fluffy than cats!!

I was feeling lazy so I fussy cut everything.  Nightmare for some, but I enjoy fussy cutting and everything here was pretty simple.  I stamped Lost Coast Designs Yourba Adire Background twice and Fourth Dimension Background once on blue paper and fussy cut.  Not much fussy LOL!  Straight lines go fast.  I cut the Fourth Dimension in half and stuck the four pieces down on an A4 page.  I stamped three Yoga Cats and the Anchor Fish with blue ink and fussy cut.  I stamped ATC Many Cats on an inky scrap and added a die cut frame.

31 Days of Halloween Day 13 - Frank Says Trick Or Treat

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

 

Hello Portal Peeps!!   Gail here today with some sweet Halloween inspiration.

Oooh, Friday the 13th!!!   Hope your day has been full of good luck and happy things.  

I'm sharing a treat holder I made using the awesome Frank by Carmen's Veranda

Just enough room for a fleet of raspberry Ferraris!!!

 

I started by cutting some arches and long pieces out of black card using dies.  I have a box die that cuts the frilled edge for making circular boxes, but a straight scored piece of card folded to make a right angle works for straight edge boxes.

I stamped Frank twice, gave him a sparkly green watercolour wash and fussy cut him both.

I glued the Franks on the arch pieces and used the long frilled bits to join them together.  I added some orange and brown wool handles and stamped Yourba Adire background on a couple of orange pieces to pretty up the sides.  Add your chosen candy and ready to go!

31 Days Of Halloween Day 5 - Gargoyle Dreams

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

 

Hello Portal Peeps!!  Gail here today with Day 5 inspiration for our 31 Days of Halloween event.  It's Halloween all month here at the Portal to Creativity and we hope you will join us and link up your stamped Halloween inspired makes.   Today I have pulled Lost Coast Designs Gargoyle off the heights and paired him with the lovely Yourba Adire background. 

 

I stamped Yourba Adire with aubergine archival ink and coloured the stripes alternately with orange and green distress markers.  I stamped Gargoyle with blue archival ink and watercoloured with grey distress inks.

I fussy cut Gargoyle, stamped two lines of the Carmen's Veranda Witches Go Riding on scraps of orange card and added them to the card.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 30

Hello.  Gail flying in today with my final project fo our 31 Days of Halloween celebration.  Roni will be here tomorrow for the grande finale but for now, here's a witch.  I'm calling this one Destination Spooky House!!!

I stamped Lost Coast Designs Yourba Adire background with London Fog ink and used Amber distress oxide to make the moon.  I stamped Witch 2, embossed, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut her.  The house is a Sizix die.
