31 days of Halloween Day # 7

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with Day 7 of the 31 days of Halloween.

Stamps Used:
🎃🎃🎃🎃

I started by getting some wood pumpkins from the craft store, you probably could get them from the dollar store. I then painted them with orange paint and set aside to dry.  I did all 3 the same way.
After the paint was dry, I took some archival ink in orange and stamped Corner swirl and Pieces of Calligraphy on all 3 pumpkins. I then dried them with a heat gun and just to be sure they were all dry I let them set over night.
The next day I then took a Tim Holtz mini stencil and some black paste and added to the pumpkins in spots. I then let that dry.
Lastly, I added some Tim Holtz Halloween bits to the pumpkins.

I hope you will join the 31 days of Halloween challenge here.

ATC coins

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with some ATC coins for you.
Stamps Used:
Carrie's Menagerie
I made the background with alcohol inks, stencils and paint. I used a punch out of the backgrounds I didn't think would make great card fronts. They made perfect ATC coins.
I then stamped Mouse 3 on the bottom of one then stamped Cat 2 upside down on the top. Edged the coin with ink and added a snarky saying.

For the second one I stamped Giraffe in the center and then the Mini crown set all around, Edged this coin with ink and added a snarky saying.

Come join the fun here.

Neon Hippie Gnome

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello all Cathy here with a neon card for you.
Stamps used: sunglass gnome

I started out with some white cardstock and 3 colors of neon paint. I but 3 blobs of paint on my craft mat and took a brayer to them and rolled it on the paper. Set aside to dry.

Stamp sunglass gnome and color his strips with neon markers. I bet you could use highlighters if you didn't have neon markers. I colored the rest of the sunglass gnome with copic markers. Cut out.

Now back to the piece that has the neon paint. I die cut it to fit on the front of the card. Also I stamped
the Horizontal party hats in the same neon colors as the paints but they didn't really show up. You can knida see it on the top of the blue. I then felt it need something so I took a butterfly stencil and some black paint and added that.
Lastly I added washi tape for the gnome to stand on and added to a dark brown card base.

I hope you will join in your hat challenge here.

Walking together

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Cathy here with a card here for you.
     Happy Valentine's Day to all.
I made this card for the Boys, Boys, Boys challenge.
You still have time to join in the fun.
This is how I made the card. I started with a white 8x11 piece of cardstock. Grabbed some paints and my fingers and painted the whole thing. Set aside to dry.
Then on a scrap piece of white cardstock I stamped Thick and Thin Men.
Then I cut them out.
When dried I grabbed some different stencils and some black paint and added to the paper.
Next I stamped Doodle Circles on the paper and I then cut them out. you can see it here. I then placed them all over on the card front.
Then I added the stamped image the front of the card and I called it done.
