#206 Make it funny challenge.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello stampers and other crafters.
Riet here with a new tutorial.
Today a card for the LCD/CV  challenge.
What I used:
The black edge is one of
And Carmen's Veranda,
Black waterproof inkpad.
Posca marker, green, pink and yellow.
Color pencils.
White gellpen.
Neocolor II.
I started by applying the Neo Color II colors to the paper.

I washed that out with water and a brush.
Do this carefully, otherwise you will get a muddy color.

Stamp with black ink Mona and the saying.
Stamp the edge with a part of frayed circle from the brush strokes sheet.

Draw small flowers on the black border with the Posca.
And color Mona with pencils.

Make some accents with a white gelpen.

Mat the card on white and go along the edge with a black marker.

This was my final contribution to this month's challenge.
It runs until the 31st, so there is still time to join in.
You can also participate with other brands, as long as you use stamps.
And remember, make it funny.
And of course, there is a prize to be won.

Here is a free tutorial with the face of mona set.

#196, Where's my hat, milkbox.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi crafters, Riet here.
The new challenge at Lost Coast designs/Carmens veranda stamps is all about hats.
So much fun.
 I made a milkbox with
5 gorgeous stamps with the face of Mona Lisa.

What I used for this milk box:

Distress oxide:
Mermaid lagoon,
Wilted violet,
Cracked pistachio,
Musterd seed.
Versafine onyx black.
Acrylic paint spray bottles In the same colors as the oxides.
Color pencils or markers, what you like most.
Dutch DoBaDo  box art, milkbox.

Started with spraying the acrylic paints.

Once this is completely dry,
we draw the template of the milk carton and cut it out and score the score lines.

With the crackle background
you stamp pieces of the stamp here and there with the Distress oxides.

Using the long swirl and black ink we stamp all the top flaps of the milk carton.

Take thin paper and stamp with versafine the 4 mona's.
Colour them with markers or pencils.
Glue them on the box.
Now you can fold and glue the milk carton.
Punch a hole at the top and pull a ribbon through it.
And that's it for this time.

You probably have a stamp with a hat,
but it can also be from other brands to participate in the challenge.
You then have a chance to win stamps of your choice.
Please read the rules to avoid disappointment.
