Day 2 of our Day of the Dead Contest!

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

We are now in Day 2 of our Day of the Dead celebrations!

Dia de los Muertes is a celebration of loved ones lost, a holiday to celebrate and honour their lives!  There's really nothing macabre about it as it is a joyful event filled with love and memories!  Day of the Dead is traditionally celebrated for 3 days, from Oct 31 through to Nov 2, so we will continue with our daily offerings until Nov 2.  Then visit us again on Nov 5, 8, 12 and 15 for tons of fabulous DOTD creations by my fellow LCDesigners!

We invite you to enter all your DOTD themed projects in the linky below for the chance to win a $15 spending spree to LCD/CV!  The contest closes Nov 15 at midnight and the winner announced soon after!

LCDesigners Kim and Nikki are here with two fabulous DOTD projects to inspire you!
Enjoy!

Kim has used the following stamps on her fabulous postcard
Lost Coast Designs - Sun and Moon
Carmen's Veranda - Milagros

Nikki has used Lost Coast Designs Skull and Flourish on her fabulous ATCs

Wow - love both of these projects - great inspirations. Sooo love all the bright colors and theme in Kim's project but at the same time - Nikki's project is the most elegant, high end skull EVER!! It's a tie for me - love them both equally!! What a great treat so see both. j.

Hi Leigh and Nikki! Thanks for visiting my blog and your comments. Perhaps you missed the stamping elements, as they are listed in the supplies, not the instructions. The ivy leaves and her Gothic choker are all rubber stamped. Hope I am still in with a chance, if the contest has not yet closed. :-)

Hi Kate, I only read your project instructions and not the supplies list, so yes, when you didn't mention any of the rubber stamping in your instructions I assumed there wasn't any. I hope you'll join us again soon :0)
