Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Greetings! It's Kathi here to share a slimline card created for February's Fruit and Foliage Challenge #194 with all three of the ATC Hamsa Hands Rubber Stamp Set.
Here it is!
Here's some information from Wikipedia about the Hamsa.
"The hand, particularly the open right hand, is a sign of protection that also represents blessings, power and strength, and is seen as potent in deflecting the evil eye.The hand can be depicted with the fingers spread apart to ward off evil, or as closed together to bring good luck".
Now back to my card!
Tuxedo Black Memento ink was used to stamp all three Hamsas from the ATC Hamsa Hands Rubber Stamp Set onto white cardstock. I fussy-cut them, colored them with Copic markers, and edged them with a dark marker.
I used both the back and front of a sheet of 12x12 floral/solid-ish patterned paper from the Kaleidoscope Collection by Graphic 45, edged them with a black marker, then layered them so that there was a border of floral paper behind the solid-ish patterned paper. The layered papers then were adhered to a black card.
The hamsas were adhered to the card front as shown and gold foil sentiment and corner stickers were added to complete the card.
You should definitely partipate in this month's Fruit and Foliage Challenge #194 for a chance to win Lost Coast Cash!
