Day 1: New Stamps Showcase - Tag ART by Leigh!

Hello and welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Lost Coast Designs added some fabulous new stamps to the LCD catalogue in December and we're very pleased to see that so many of you have already added them to your collections, YAY!  If you haven't seen our fab new designs yet then pop on over and check out our NEW IMAGES page, they are so freaking awesome, you're going to want them all!

The LCDesigners are now super excited to kick off the new year with a New Stamps Showcase where we will share our projects featuring the new stamps every single day for the next 2 weeks so sit back and enjoy all the fab DT inspiration!

Would you like to win one of our new stamps?  I'm sure you do so stop by every day of the showcase and let us know what you think of our featured project(s) and then on the last day tell us which new stamp is your favourite!  Readers who comment every day of the event will be entered into a random draw to win their fave new stamp!!!!

I'm kicking off Day 1 of the New Stamps Showcase with two Tag Art projects featuring these awesome new stamps:

Megan's Christmas Bird
Megan's Owl
Grunge Border 2"
Grunge Border 3"
Goodbye, Happy and New Year from the Misc Words set
plus the numbers from the License Plate Alphabet set

Here's a closer look at the fussy cutting and layering on "Goodbye 2015"

and a closer look at the fussy cutting and layering on "Happy New Year 2016"
Thanks for stopping by today to check out my projects and don't forget to visit every day for the next 2 weeks for tons of "New Stamps" DT inspiration and leave us lots of love for the chance to win your fave new stamp!

Before you go I'd also like to let you know that I'm hosting an Edgar Allan Poe Appreciation Day Blog Hop in celebration of his birthday!  The hop starts tomorrow at 9am PST and because it's spur of the moment this will be a progressive hop spanning over 5 days and you can join the hop at any time, no need to sign up!  You have until midnight PST on January 23 to join the fun!

Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda are sponsoring this hop but ALL stamps of Poe and related imagery by other companies can be used, and one participating blog will be randomly selected to win a $10 gift certificate to spend at LCD/CV!  Click HERE for all the info and to grab the Blog Roll code.  I hope you'll stop by for loads of Poe inspiration and join the hop too!
We have lots of crow/raven themed stamps including a Poe himself!  Stop by and check them out!

 Happy Stamping!

  1. These looks absolutely gorgeous, loving 3D effect and a great combination of red & blue

  2. Wow Leigh. Just love the first two tags using two of my favorite subjects, birds and owls (yes I guess owls are birds too?) The colors are great. Off to see the new stamps.

  3. Good thinking, to do a "Farewell" to the outgoing year.

  4. Those are awesome tags! Thanks for showcasing the new stamps as I often forget to browse the new images!

  5. Love both of these stamps... Great tags!!!

  7. Oh wow Leigh - these are just INCREDIBLY FUN and TOTALLY ENCHANTING. The colors... wow - so vivid and perfect. You showed off the new stamps BETTER than the BEST.... j.

  8. Great tags. Such a great idea to do this pair : Out with the old ... and in with the new year :)

  9. Oh my, these are glorious. Love them both. That little bird is a sweetie. Amazing colours. Hugz

  10. Fabulous layering! They look ready to fly off those gorgeous backgrounds! xx
