Day 1 of our Day of the Dead Contest!

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

If you're looking for the Day 31 post for the 31 Days of Halloween blog hop then click HERE!

Even though today is sadly the end of our 31 Days of Halloween blog hop our celebrations continue through to Nov 15 with our Dia de los Muertes - Day of the Dead Contest!

Dia de los Muertes is a celebration of loved ones lost, a holiday to celebrate and honour their lives!  There's really nothing macabre about it as it is a joyful event filled with love and memories!  Day of the Dead is traditionally celebrated for 3 days, from Oct 31 through to Nov 2, so we will continue with our daily offerings until Nov 2.  Then visit us again on Nov 5, 8, 12 and 15 for tons of fabulous DOTD creations by my fellow LCDesigners!

Our DOTD Contest is now officially open and we invite you to enter all your DOTD themed projects in the linky below for the chance to win a $15 spending spree to LCD/CV!  The contest closes Nov 15 at midnight and the winner announced soon after!

To kick off our celebrations here's two fabulous projects by LCDesigners Granne and Nanette!
Enjoy!

Granne has used Lost Coast Designs Six Mini Skulls on her altered candlestick!

Nan has used Lost Coast Designs Day of the Dead Man and Women for her ATC and matching sleeve!
