Shabby, Ragged, Faded, Worn, I Still Need Your Love

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello Lost Coast fans, Gail here today.  After doing battle with the dreaded flu the last week or so I find myself out in sympathy with this sweet little Creepy Heart Doll.  Both of us feeling a little ragged and worn, in need of hugs and love.

I kept it really simple, cutting a panel of patterned paper and distressing the edges with my craft knife before mounting on a steel metallic base card.  I stamped Creepy Heart Doll and coloured her with distress inks, dropping lots of water to give her that worn stained look.  She has been through hard times but still deserves More Hugs and More Love.  Don't we all???   The words are from a much longer Carmen's Veranda sentiment which extols the virtues of more sunshine, dreams, books etc etc.

I think the world would be a better place if we all had more love and hugs Craftyfield. Glad to hear you are avoiding the bugs. Stay warm and cosy. Hugz
