B is for ... Brunhilda scaring away the bunnies.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hi everyone,
I hope all is well in your part of the world.

The latest challenge that we have is called
"Things That Start With B"

I've had Brunhilda for a little while and I thought it was time for her to come out and play.

The Magnificent Lady Herself
She was simply stamped onto photo copy paper and cut out.
This image is an easy one for those of us that are scissors challenged.
And a little light distress ink was water coloured onto her skirt.

The Dirt
The soil was some scrap card dipped and dried a few times in Vintage Photo distress ink and water straight from the craft sheet.
Then ripped and edged with Walnut Stain ink.

The Background
Swipe some Broken China and Wild Honey DI across your craft mat
and spritz a little water.
Wipe your card through this diagonally and dip a few times.
Drying as you go.
I like to hold my fingers in the opposite corners when I'm holding the card so that I know it is going in the right direction.
Then, with oxides, stamp the Daisy Flourish in colours that match the background.
I changed the Wild Honey to Spiced Marmalade as the yellow didn't really show up.

The Bunnies
Make a mask of one of the bunnies.
Stamp with Walnut Stain oxide ink where you would like the front bunny to go.
Mask him.
Then stamp the 2nd bunny.
Mask the 2nd bunny and then stamp the 3rd one.

Technical Stuff
Now here I need to explain that I used 2nd and 3rd generation stamping for the bunnies.
This gives the illusion of the bunnies getting fainter.

1st Generation: Ink up your stamp and stamp straight onto your card.
2nd Generation: Ink up your stamp, stamp off onto scrap card once and then onto your card.
3rd Generation: Ink up your stamp, stamp off onto scrap card twice and then onto your card.

To Finish Off
Attach the dirt.
Attach Brunhilda.
Mat and layer your card.
Add some highlights with a while gel pen on the Daisy Flourish.

Have I tempted you to join in the challenge this fortnight???
