Hi again from Laurie with another sample of something fun you can make for the "Numbers" Challenge for the month of September.
This is made with one of my favorite stamps: Godzilla!
I stamped this guy with black ink onto dark green paper - I kind of remembered from the old horror movies that he was dark green in color. I added a little white around his eye to make it stand out then cut him out (be patient!). I used a background piece I had on hand that was made using yellow and green acrylic paints, stencils, and my Gelli plate. I randomly stamped my background paper with tiny numbers and then stamped along the bottom with the Numbers Border stamp from Lost Coast Designs.
I then used my vintage typewriter to type the sentiment onto a white square that I layered with a black square then attached it to make it look like Godzilla is holding it up. Then this was layered with a white piece of card stock. It would make a really fun birthday card - you could change the "Let's all count to ten" to the age of the recipient to really personalize it.
