Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Hello Portal Peeps. Gail here today with some inspiration for our Face On challenge.
We want to see a human face on your stamped makes.
I decided to add to my Christmas card stock and use the very beautiful Mistletoe Goth.
I really liked a card I made with her last month where I stamped her slightly off the left side of the card. It frames her nicely and gives you a lovely space to just add a sentiment, or get a bit more arty.
I started by stamping Lost Coast Designs Mistletoe Goth at the edge of my side fold card and then I cut the card base with a stitch rectangle die. I stamped her roughly on a piece of scrap paper and fussy cut the right hand side of the image to use as a mask.
I masked the Mistletoe Goth and stamped Lost Coast Designs Peace dictionary definition with Sky Blue archival. I stamped the main middle image first and then again either side. I used a cut and dry foam nib to add some grungy shadow and shadings with Sky Blue and London Fog archival ink.
I masked her again and stamped Sketchy Rose in the white space and embossed with white tinsel embossing powder. I added some green, red and purple to the Mistletoe Goth image using Promarkers and then went crazy with the iridescent glitter glue. I love that stuff!!!
You have until the end of the month to join our Face On challenge.
Just add your link on the challenge post or join the fun in our fb fan group.
You could win yourself some new rubber!!
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Gail, this is a beautiful holiday card and lovely images. Love how you masked her off to stamp and emboss the flowers. I'm playing around with masking right now on a card, must be going around lol. I like her on the side, you are correct and it makes her more interesting. xox
