Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Hello everyone, Liesbeth here with two nice ladies. Hope you will join our Ladies night Challenge!
I'dd love to show you one of my favourite techniques...it's so simple and easy ...with a great effect I think!😀
I used Chromolux, a very very glossy cardstock, but every glossy paper will work.(The white spots is the window in my studio...this paper is like mirror..) I sponged some nice overlapping coloured areas . I started with Distress ink Wild Honey. The second was Picked Raspberry and the third was Salty Ocean. I also tapped a bit with the blendingtool to add even more colour.
I finished the background with some Chipped Sapphire here and there and at the edges. Let dry well.
I stamped the ladies by using StazOn Jet Black. Be careful, the paper is very slippery...
I stamped the flourish onto the edge a several times to create a frame. I used StazOn again.
I applied some ,make-up' onto the face of the square woman using a q-tip and some Distress ink. Eyeshadow, blush and lipstick.😘 I also painted the flowers with glitter pens , pink and yellow. I finished the cards by sponging the edges with StazOn. Ready to mat them onto colourful cardstock!
Have fun!
