31 Days of Halloween - Day 28

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Greetings! You've got Kathi here to share a card created for Day 28 of our October 31 Days of Halloween Challenge with the Witch 2 Rubber Stamp by Lost Coast Designs.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Witch 2 Rubber Stamp onto a 6" square piece of Bristol Paper. Heat set the image, then color it with Copic markers.

Place the image panel onto a magnetic craft surface, then place a circle mask over the colored image. This white circle area will become the moon.

Brush dark blue dye ink around the outside edges of the image panel and over the outside of the circle mask. Brush a lighter blue dye ink over the panel working from the outside edges towards the circle mask, blending as you go. Brush a brighter blue dye ink onto the image panel and over the outside of the circle mask. 

Finish the background night sky by brushing two colors of violet dye inks over the panel and the outside of the circle mask.

Remove the circle mask and heat set the image panel.

Add a bit of removable adhesive to the moon, then secure the circle mask back in place. Use magnets and/or tape to secure the riding witch stencil over the image panel. 

Brush Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink over the stencil onto the image panel. Use a very small brush to apply White Shimmer Delicata Ink over the large diamond shapes on the stencil.

Remove both the stencil and the circle mask from the image panel. Carefully remove the adhesive from the moon area of the image panel. 

Heat set the image panel. 

Trim the image panel to 5.5" square and edge with the Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink. 

Trim a piece of silver metallic cardstock to 5.75" and use this to mat the image panel.

Add double-sided tape to the reverse of a strip of the remaining silver metallic cardstock, then use alphabet cutting dies to cut the letters needed for the sentiment. Adhere the "We Ride" sentiment die-cut letters to the matted image panel as shown. 

 Adhere the matted card front to a 6" square black card.
