Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
You still have a few days left to enter this challenge "Anything Goes". It's a great chance to make whatever your heart desires!!
I made a small card for this one using the Steampunk Pony stamp from Lost Coast Designs. I love anything steampunk so it was fun to have a chance to use some of my Lost Coast steampunk stamps.
I created a background by tearing pieces of vintage paper from old books, ledgers, etc. and created a collage by using Modge Podge to glue them to some heavy paper. Once that was complete, I used a variety of stencils and inks and stenciled over the page. I stamped my pony with black ink onto a section of my page and using a rough edged ruler, tore it out. I layered it with black then rust colored card stock. Using brads, I attached two brass wheels to the wheels of the horse. I then took a small black elastic band and attached it at one end to the back wheel and at the other end to a larger brad.
This is such a cool stamp and I love how the wheels and brads give it a real steampunk look.
