Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Greetings from Laurie with a fun card for this super fun challenge going on right now here on the Portal: Where Did You Get That Hat? I used the Striped Cat stamp from Lost Coast Designs and the Once A Badass clear stamp from Carmen's Veranda to make this card.
I started by stamping my cat with black ink onto a piece of lightweight cardboard. I added some white to his eyes with a white gel pen and glued this cute little fancy cowboy hat to his head. I then machine stitched this panel to a piece of cream colored canvas. This then was layered with a piece of corrugated cardboard and those were also stitched together. I mounted the whole thing to a piece of cream card stock that I edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
My sentiment was stamped onto coffee stained paper with black ink and cut out and layered to some lightweight cardboard. I fastened to my card front with a Tim Holtz stick pin.
