Mail Art: Steampunk

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Hello everyone, Liesbeth here with the final post for our Mail Art challenge! Tomorrow another challenge will start, but first let's show my A5 Steampunk envelope.
The possibilities for Mail Art are endless! Love it so much!

I started with a torn out papermask for the adress area. Using four colours of blue ink, I sponged the entire background and stamped the background stamps (text and fragments) I also sponged dark blue using the gorgeous Stencil Girl stencil ,Tapestry' (click) I removed the mask and I stamped the airship and the man with black StazOn ink. I bleached them using pure bleach and a synthetic brush. I finished with a blue color pencil to cover some white parts like the front side of the airship.
Give it a try... enjoy!

I love the new steampunk stamps so much! Here I used STP Dirigible and STP Guy in car. And there are some more, look HERE!
