Mini Me Tripytch

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Happy 1st day of March to all from Laurie!  When March comes, thoughts turn to spring.  I hope that you are looking forward to some warm and wonderful spring weather coming soon, wherever you are.

Our challenge for the first half of March is "Mini Me".  So think making something small like ATCs, ATC coins, inches, twinchies, etc.  Given that, I have created a trio of ATC coins using Moon Owl, Chicken, and Shark stamps from the selection of Carri's Menagerie stamps at Lost Coast Designs.

Starting with the Moon Owls, I found a piece of scrapbook paper with a tree and circle cut that out.  I edged it with brown Distress Oxide Ink and inked the center of the coin with green and gold oxide inks.  I stamped my owls onto white paper with brown ink and fussy cut them out.  I added some orange marker to their beaks and glued on some googly eyes for each.  I attached them with foam tape as shown.  I punched a moon shape from silver paper and attached it above the owls.

Next are the sharks.  I circle cut a bluish piece of scrapbook paper and using green Distress Oxide ink I stamped it with the Doodle Circles background stamp.  I then stamped my sharks onto white card stock with blue ink and fussy cut them out.  I edged my circle with the same blue ink and glued googly eyes onto both sharks then attached them with foam tape.

And last but not least, are the chickens!  I circle cut a piece of greenish card stock and stamped it with the Shrubbery background stamp using dark green ink.  I then stamped my chickens onto white card stock with red ink and fussy cut them out.  I glued them to my circle and added some googly eyes to both.

We are excited to see what mini creations you can come up with.  Be sure to feature some rubber stamping in your work and you just might win some free stamps from Lost Coast Designs or Carmen's Veranda!
