Stay Cool!

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Greetings! It's Kathi here! I'm ecstatic to be joining this talented team and have the opportunity to work with some absolutely fantastic stamps.

My first project is for the Children's Challenge Theme. I've made a slimline card using the Manga Goth with Tophat Stamp and the Perspective Floor Stamp.

I stamped the Manga Goth with Tophat Stamp twice — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper, which was fussy-cut and set aside.

The image on the cardstock was colored with Copic markers then masked with the fussy-cut sticker paper version,

Low-tack tape was placed across the bottom part of the image panel. Grey ink was brushed over the tape and the masked image onto the panel to color the background.

Black pigment ink was used to stamp the Perspective Floor Stamp and heat set.The tape was removed and the floor was touched up using a black marker.

The floor was covered with a piece of plastic packaging. Lilac ink was brushed over the acetate and the masked image to color the background. 91% Isopropyl alcohol was misted over the image panel to blend the ink and add mottling. Happy accident time — blended blue, pink, and lavender emerged!

The same lilac ink was randomly brushed over a stencil to add some visual interest.

A pierced slimline die was used to cut the image panel, which was adhered to a black slimline card.

Sentiment dies were used to cut black cardstock whih were adhered to the finish the card.

You have until the end of the month to participate in the Challenge and have the chance to win some Lost Coast money! I hope to see you there!
