Sweet teddy bear.

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Just look at that cute Teddy.
I just love him, its one of Carri's creepy dolls.
For the background card i used just one little swirl stamp from the brush strokes set.
The "Happy Birthday" is from the party words sheet.
I also used a die behind the bear and one for the Happy Birthday.
The little hearts were applied with a stencil.

I used these inks.
Black Stazon
Versa magic,
Sea Breeze,
Key Lime,
Aquatic Splash,
Thatched Straw,
Pretty petunia,
Pink Grapefruit,
Persimmon and
Perfect Plumeria.
White gellpen.
Color pencils, purple, brown and beige.

This is how I made the card.
I folded an A5 size in half.
Smooth white paper.
Stamp all the colours twith the small swirl stamp.
Start with the light colours.
After all, it is easier to go with dark over light,
 than with light over dark.
Keep doing this until you are happy with the result.
You can leave some white open spaces, but I liked to stamp the entire surface.
Don't forget to turn the stamp every now and then.
This way, the swirls don't all point in the same direction.

Also stamp over the edges, otherwise it looks very artificial.

Stamp the bear with the black stazon.
And color the bear with the Versa Magic ink.
With the brown and beige pencil you color his face.
Give the bear some accents with the white gellpen.
Cut the bear out.

Die cut the square and the banner.

Color the edges and stencil the hearts with Pink Grapefruit
Stamp the "Happy Birthday" with the balck stazon.

Stick everything on the card with foam tape.
And what a cheerful card this has become, don't you think?
Now it's up to you, make something with a child or for a child.
Follow the link and join the challenge, you have a chance to win rubber stamps.
To avoid disappointment, you better read the rules.
Good luck, hope to see your art with the other participants of the challenge.
