31 Days of Halloween - Day 8

Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!

Happy Haunting from Laurie with a spooky tag project for the Lost Coast Designs Halloween Blog Hop.

For this tag I used the R.I.P. stamp which really lends itself to transforming into a tag.
I stamped my image with black ink onto a piece of white paper that I had stenciled with some orange and yellow distress inks.  The background is pretty simple but I thought there was just enough color there to show through.  I cut out the image and mounted it to a piece of scripted scrap book paper.  I then tore around the edges of that and touched up the edges with black ink.  Final step was to tie a piece vintage crocheted ribbon around the top and secure a bone within the knot.

So this is really simple and would be fun to use for a Halloween gift or just as a Halloween greeting to a friend.  So get out your stamps and ink pads and let's see what kinds of spooky goodies you can create!  You just might win some free stamps!

  1. That is a fab tag Laurie. Love the stone-look and the bone. Hugz
