Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Good morning and happy Saturday. It's Sue here with my Hard As Stone Project.
I started by making a background with Distress Inks. I used Pumice Stone, which has to be my least used ink, but it's just right for the grout effect that I wanted for my stone wall.
Then I stencilled my wall with Scattered Straw and added a border with my new favourite Antique Text border stamp.
I stamped the Winged Girl onto card and coloured her with patina ink then cut out some of the background. Then I stamped her onto thinner card and embossed her in bronze.
This was then backed onto a postcard sized piece of bronze metallic card, and the Goddess from Mystery, Eternity, Hope Goddess was stamped onto thick velum, embossed in bronze and sewn into place.
I hope that you join in with our challenge - go on, you know you want to, and there's rubber up for grabs.
Have a fab day, and thanks very much for looking xx

This is gorgeous Sue. Love the brick wall with that cool border and your bronze lady and the beautiful Goddess sentiment on the vellum. Very very cool. Hugz
