Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
Hi from Laurie for this new December Challenge: Cold and Frosty. Nothing says cold and frosty better than a snowman! This Snowman stamp from Carmen's Veranda is a little old fashioned looking, which I really like.
I stamped my Snowman with black ink onto white paper and cut him out. I then restamped his scarf and buttons with blue ink, cut those out, and superimposed them atop my original image.
I found a top hat image for him and added some black rhinestones for his eyes of coal. I colored his nose with orange marker but it did not show up well, so I cut him a nose from orange paper and glued it on. His stick arms were colored brown.
I used a piece of black scrapbook paper with random white dots because it looked like snow to me. I heat embossed the Large Snowflake Set randomly on the black paper and edged it with black ink. I mounted my Snowman with foam tape atop. I found a sticker that said "let it snow" and layered it with some black card stock and added a little stand for the sign and affixed it to the lower left side of my Snowman. The whole card front is layered with a piece of white card stock.
