Welcome back to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda collide to bring you twice the inspiration and double the fun!
We are coming to the end of this year's Halloween Blog Hop. Laurie here with one more project with a Halloween theme, featuring a cat or dog. In this instance, it's a cat.
This features one of Linda's Doodle Cats inspired by Laurel Birch. I also used the White Skulls Border stamp from Lost Coast Designs.
I started by stamping my kitty cat three times: once on orange paper, once on green paper, and once on white paper. All were stamped with black ink.
I used the orange kitty as my base so cut it out. I then cut out various sections of the other two cats and pasted those as shown onto my orange kitty base. So a bit a cutting and piecing work here. It was fun - I didn't really have a plan in mind so just let it happen! I accentuated with some orange sequins and green rhinestones. I used a white Gel pen to highlight as well. I cut out a witch's hat from a collage sheet and pasted that onto my kitty.
I cut a tag shape from some Halloween card stock and edged it with orange ink. I stamped my border onto the same paper with black ink, cut it out, and glued it to the bottom of my tag. Kitty gets attached next and the finishing touches are the die cut word "wicked" and the black ribbon at the top.
You still have a few days left to enter your Dog and Cat and/or Halloween projects at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and a chance to win some stamps!
